Yes, all of our machines take quarters and 1's through 100's.
Ø What is the shipping time frame?
5-day economy which is 6 business days delivered to your doorstep for $195 flat fee, no hidden charges. The shipment must be signed for and the shipper will not deliver it without contacting you first.
Ø Upon arrival, what needs to be done to 'set it up and play'?
To play the machine you only need to plug it in and turn it on and you are ready to play.
Ø Do you have a Trade-Up or Exchange policy in the event I get tired of a certain machine and want to play another?
We do not have a trade up policy mainly because the cost of shipping alone almost negates the value of the machine. But....a machine can be changed to another by changing the game kit. We sell these for $300 in the parts category. In summary, if you purchased a Double Diamond and later decided you wanted a Wild Cherry you need only purchase the Wild Cherry game kit. We also have package deals that offer a slot machine, stand, and game kit at a discount, please see Package Deals under Slot Machines. With our assistance over the phone the game kit can be changed in a matter of 20 minutes. Then you could change the game kits back and forth at your leisure.
Ø Is the payout or Jackpot Payout Programmable by the owner...i.e. 97% payback and so forth, or is it coded by GamblersChoice and cannot be changed, if so what is it?
The payout is controlled by a chip on the motherboard. It can be exchanged with another chip which we sell in the parts category. The average percentage payouts are between 85% and 98%. We typically install a 92% unless specified otherwise by the customer. The customer can choose any percentage between 85% (considered 'tight' or few wins) and 98% (considered 'loose' or many wins). Just specify when ordering in the 'Notes' section of the checkout process.
Ø Is it easy for someone to do minor maintenance, i.e. change bulbs, etc...?
It is very easy to do maintenance on these assuming that someone is talking you through it over the phone.
Ø Is it easy for someone to periodically open and empty the bill collector and to add coins?
Emptying the cashbox is just a matter of pushing a lever, removing the cashbox, turning it over, and removing the bills. The cashbox then slides back into position. To add coins, just open the door and drop into the hopper which is readily accessible.
Ø On average, for the most severe maintenance issues, does the entire machine need to be sent back in for repair?
All parts in a machine are easily removed. If there is a problem, it is removed and shipped to us. We repair or replace the part and ship it to you. We have never had a machine shipped back.
Ø What color/condition is the slot machine I am buying?
Additional pictures are available by email upon request to insure there are no misunderstandings concerning the color and condition of the exact slot machine you are buying. Most slot machine cabinets are black but this is not the rule.
Ø What are the slot machine's dimensions?
Slot machines are 42 inches high and the top candle will add an additional 4 to 6 inches. The width is 22 inches and 20 inches deep. The weight is approximately 250 pounds.
Ø What are the power requirements of a slot machine?
Slot machines run on normal 110 V household current. The power cord will run out of the back of the slot machine. No special adaptor or wiring is needed. It is a good idea to plug the power cord into a power surge protector since there is a computer board inside all slot machines.
Ø What payout percentage eprom chips are installed?
The pay out percentage on slot machines are set with an 92% eprom reel chip. If you wish a higher or lower percentage chip, we have percentage chips available from 85% to 98% in most cases.
Ø Do you clear out the computer board eprom clear ram?
We do a clear ram memory on every computer board so that your slot machine will never freeze up because your CMOS eprom chip has its memory full. When you purchase one of our slot machines, the computer board is set just like it left the factory. Therefore all previous plays are erased from the memory.
Ø What is your warranty and service policy?
We provide a one year warranty on parts and labor. Our staff can provide technical support for service or parts.
